 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY my dears  

Have some CBNS ladies for the occasion, with some little wisdoms that used to help me to face some personal ordeals a couple of years ago
It took me more time than expected, since I also celebrate my birthday with all my family this evening .

Quick stuff inspired from DS's brand new CBNS chapter !!! I've been overly busy with work lastly, and I only discover the chapter this evening, and as always, it made my day !

I would have loved being part of this tea party though xD. And these three were just glorious the way they are.
Sometime I wonder how a sophisticated vilain like Mr Dark manages to keep his calm, while he has to team up put up with his with ill-manered / short-tempered / impudent allies. He would be the kind of guy who would have to carry the game everytime his partners are jeopardizing the mission.

And I just love Razorwife already !

It took me four days to get used to the Summer Time switch ... I still feel I'm lacking one hour in my biologic clock, it made me sick again ...
Need to do a stress releasing doodle this evening, have these two cuties. 

Only noticed recently how the flowers from the Dream Forest in Rayman 1 look like cauliflowers... Must be the the petals though .

Quite interesting, how only my fellow francophone watchers immediately recognized these two, when I first draw them here and here.

It's the story of two myopic brothers from the Dream Forest, who have good knowledge in mechanics. At the time the Great Protoon has been stoled by M.Dark, the Teensy Monarchs were actively looking for sentinels to watch over the Glade. The brothers immediately applied for the post. Unfortunately, because they are short-sighted, and thus easily neutralisable, the Teensy Monarchs didn't go ahead with their application.

Moskito was awfully disapointed by the monarchs's decision, and terribly frustrated that they didn't even let them a chance to show what he and his brother were made of. Nowaday, (and after all the events from Rayman 1) the two brothers are still bumming around the Swamp of Forgetfulness, and keep on preventing every intruders from coming in their turf.

 Moskito (tracker): the older brother. Very hostil to intruders in general, and still hold a grudge against Rayman after the latest defeat him years ago. He is fighting with Bolases, which he handles like a pro. 

 Bzzit (spotter): the younger brother. Bzzit isn't that mean, he is actually a good friend of Rayman, and helped him go through the swamps many time back in the days. He is quite clumsy with the Bolases (he often knocked himslef out when he tries to handle them), this is why he prefers fighting with the mace.

RANDOM FACTS:

 Since they are both myopic, they always squint their eyes to accommodate their sight, which make them scrowl their face and naturaly gives them a menacing glare.
 They speak a kind of suburbian slang which can sound threatening (from Mos) and sometimes hard to understand for people not used to hear it. Since Rayman gets on well with Bzzit, he can understand it a bit and gets by in conversation .
 Mos and Bzzit often fight eachother for futile reasons/provocations

It all started with a humanisation try for the Teensies people from the Glade of Dream, and I ended up with this sillyness !

Just like I did by humanising the Gobbos people, the Teensies are smol people. They also have some interesting features to highlight, like their little spiral mark on their face .

What a gloomy, cold, grey, windy sunday we had today.
This kind of weather usually gives me absolutely no motivation to do productive things.


Have some ruthless Conspirators treating themselves with simple pleasures  

 Mr.Dark about to eat the remaining raw mix for himself. 

 The Sorceress who got rid off her Royal outfit for once and about to be super comfy.

 Rez sometimes summons creatures from viral videos. Currently experimenting a purring-cat-therapy.

 Baron Dante taking care of his beard with oil and balm. No armor for convenient purposes.

You should see me at the moment I'm typing these words though. Staying warm at all cost !!}

Have you checked out his latest CBNS theories ? Here and Here ?

In the second part, G1 mentioned something really interesting with a LOT of potential for the main CBNS plot : How Jersey optained that stange device which allow him to wander in different worlds.

Because I'm lazy, I'll simply write verbatim his hypothesis:

Perhaps N.Tropy saw a potential minion in a certain devious denizen of thid world.
Perhaps he thought to recruit this boy to be a counter to any of the heroes from the others Conspirator's worlds.
Perhaps he even intended to give the young aviator a device for travelling between realms.

Unfortunately for him, he quickly realized the kid couldn't be controled, and a fight broke out.
With N.Tropy thinking the device destroyed, he cuts his losses and leaves.

 ... !!

Lack of activity due to a recent intensive recruitment process, and a brand new job started last week. There're so many new process/notions/vocabulary I have to assimillate as quick as possible, my brain can't handle such an amount of new information, and is like "hey I need a break, draw these 2 potatoes instead".

 Since he started studying Fire Mastery, Dark's body temperature is actually much higher than the average of the Glade's dwellers. The Teensies Doctors were pretty much confused the first time they took his temperature during a routine check.
 Betilla can't remain still while sleeping. The Teensies Doctors first thought she had a kind of "crawling/rolling somnambulism", but it turned out to be that Betilla just has an agitated slumber. Not because of nightmare, but because she actually try to find the comfiest way to sleep.}

Combining 2 themes in one !

Remember that theme pict I made last year ? Well, have a more detailed stuff about it .

Croc: "But I am patient, Mister D: !"}

Croc learning how to use the H.I.I., a gadget that requires a lot of patience, excellent timing and composure. The H.I.I. has the form of a necklace, the technology actually being in the clasp. When the user pull on the necklace and open the clasp, it releases a powerful frequency which can neutalize assaults (spells, projectils...). This gadget has to remain absolutely secret, even among allies, and can only be used ONCE in battle. To be used wisely and strategically.

Parappa: "Hhm, a few time... why ?"
Gex: "Well, the use of the 5.1 kinda looks like baseball, you know about reaching the bases and stuffs... Except you have to be much faster than that."}</i>

Parappa training in order to be able to use the 5.1, a gadget that requires speed, dexterity and precision. It contains a beacon (which has to be thrown on a enemy) and 5 bases (which have to be placed all around the enemy according to the coordinates computed by the beacon stuck on it. Once the 5 bases are correctly placed, 5 massive speakers appear and release a deafening sound which can momentatily stun the enemy. Remains more efficient if used on a massive opponent.

_{Shoutout to that arrogant Parisian waiter who remembered the yokel suburban that I am that no, the establishment doesn't accept payment by card below 20€. But who, on a positive note, inspired me  .}


It's been ages I've been brainstorming to find what kind of outfit I could give to Mr.Dark when he isn't wearing his duster cloak. I wanted something elegant and sober, but not too much though. So here we are ! A "Garçon de Café" attire, and because I'm lazy, it has Kid Dark's color palette . Same for the hairdo: similar to Kid Dark, simply shorter at the back of his head.
The darker marks on his skin ? That's... no big deal ? simply fully regenerated skin (hair pretty much doesn't grow anymore on it)

Bonus doodle with some of his GummyBears, remember them ? When Mr.Dark has to leave his castle for a while, he summons his bears and orders them to stand guard while he is away. The GummyBears are fierce and dangerous guardians, but every time Mr.Dark comes back to his castle, they always welcome him warmly  .

Dear, that was definitely worth the wait. Not the easiest chapter to come up with, but DS just got by like a boss, as always ~
I loved how the battles are cleverly implemented throughout the whole chapter. I'm now looking forward to the next chapter like nnnghhnh  

My inspiration is definitely boosted. Prepare to see a bunch of doodles related to this chapter, and more particularly a respective study for both Toasty (mechanical puppet) and BUZZ .

Remember the 3 secret silouhettes mentioned here, here, and here ?

Here they are, 2 years after the first Old Aquaintance pict I sent :shame:... But seriously, this one took me waaaaaaaaaay too much time. 

Poison Claws Janga:

Janga is a foe firstly mentioned in the end of the PS1 game Klonoa Beach Volleyball. 
Just like Joka, Janga is a partisan of Nightmares. Both he and Joka used to teamwork back in the days in order to put spaners in Klonoa's works. Rude, aggressive and foul-mouthed, Janga will gladly assassinate brats for some booze. His incredible agility enables him to be bullet proof .

Admiral Razorwife:

Razorwife (aka Mrs.Razorbeard) is a playable character in the ps1 game Rayman Rush.
Razorwife is the short-tempered leader of the Robot Pirate Crew. She took the lead after her dear husband Razorbeard was scattered in pieces by Rayman, and since then she bears a grudge against the youth, and can't wait to make him pay. On the contrary of her loyal Henchmen 1000, both her arms can turn into fancy pistol canon as she pleases, and despite her appareance she remains an impressive ballistic expert. Her left leg is also a dagger. Razorwife enjoys practicing opera singing on her freetime, and doing little origami hat... which actually fit pretty well on the Henchmen 1000  .


Mooshoo Pork:

Mooshoo Pork is the second boss encountered in Gex EtG. 
Scientist, cook, butcher, psychopath, MooshooPork is Rez' associate, and helped this latest to build the whole Rezopolis section of the Media Dimention in the past. Mooshoo is a heavy fighter, strong enough to handle his Meat-Tendizer with only one arm, in order to be able to counter-attack with his butcher knife in case an opponent is getting too close. Enjoys cooking contest brodcasts and autopsy scenes in crime show on his free time. This maniac's motto would be something like "Science justifies murder ".

UGH. Was it OOMCZ ? You bet it was  ... Although you got an early preview of Razorwife redesign in some of my recent pictures, the humanization of the two others was a REAL struggle. I had a general ideal of how I wanted them to be humanised, but I wasn't satisfied once on paper. I had to restart many time to get something a bit right, but yet I still wasn't satisfied XD. But I had to stop though.
Also, Janga and Mooshoo were definitely challenging for others reason: I don't really know Janga, and there's only a few footage of him to get some inspiration. Fortunately DS was a huge support and found me some added content to work on Janga . And Mooshoo, well, I simply hate this boss from the bottom of my heart: I mean, I think so far I only fought him four, maybe five times in my entire life ? The reason is when I was a kid, he was bloody terrifying : his arena is a creepy lab and he's chasing Gex during the whole fight. And seriously, a Cow/Pork Hybrid ?! This is messed up ... But despite that, I wanted to give him justice just like I do with the other CBNS characters so far, so I took some liberties, like giving him some weapon for instance .
