Just like Dark-swordfish mentioned it in his last CBNS chapter, some minor bosses from (mostly) ps1-gen games will make an appearance, with the same goal of many villains in the story so far: to put a spanner in the works of our heroes.
Here's my first attempt to some of them, according to DS's requests. Can you recognize them ?![;)]( ";) (Wink)")
The Toasty Twins, Mia and Lia:
from: Spyro the Dragon
The first boss Spyro ever defeated back in the first game.
Toasty is the leader of the shepherds from the Artisans Realm. But after his defeat against Spyro, this dark figure revealed to be in fact personified by a boy, Lia, using stilts to appear taller and fighting clumsily with a scythe. His twin sister, Mia, then proposed to joined him to improve his battle strategy with a "carry on the shoulders" stance: she is now handling the scythe, while Lia is controling the stilts.
In exchange of their help, the Sorceress promised them they could get their revenge on Spyro.
Joka:
from: Klonoa Door to Phantomile
Joka is a recurrent antagonist in DtP.
This jester is Ghadius' all devoted and loyal servant, and venerate his King from the bottom of his corrupted heart. He knows some nightmarish tricks ans spells, which can become even more powerful at nightfall. He is also the main responsible of the death of one of Klonoa's relative in the past.
Neptuna:
from: Croc Legend of the Gobbos
Neptuna is the first boss encountered in the Desert Island, in LotG.
This mermaid is a Gardian created by Baron Dante himself, in order to stop Croc in his progression. The later fought her in an arena underwater. Neptuna remains a very agile fighter, either in close range by chasing her opponent, or in long range by using her trident to shoot electric orbs.

There was a real challenge by humanizing these characters. And as you can see, I brought some originality according to DS's requests: Toasty who used to be a solo fighter are now twin brothers tag-fighting (we can't really see their features as human, as they are hidden under their costume), and Neptuna who is suposed to be a male character is now a female mermaid (but I didn't wanted to be in the perpetual cliché of the long haired and pretty mermaid who wears a shell-bra, she is rather a punkish mermaid with a kind of androgyn appearance). And even for Joka, who initially is a spheric character, findind him a suit and some features to make his humanized appearance as close a possible wasn't that easy though.
