This picture is a kind of little tribute to Popple, ![:iconkimmotman:]( "KimmotMan")
's original character.
A few times ago, KimmotMan sent in DA a project called "Popple Outta Place", which I liked a lot![=)]( "=) (Smile)")
, mainly because the main idea of the project (Popple travelling across all kind of paints/pictures) made me remember the principle of the game "Gex enter the gecko" (this one travelling across TV shows).
So, as Gex, I thought it could be fun to give Popple an appearance depending on which paint he is travelling.
Each appearance gives Popple a special ability:
Pastel Popple can climb and dig.
Charcoal Popple can resist to fire and high temperatures.
Watercolor Popple can run on water 8).
India Ink Popple becomes so light that he can levitate a little and thus avoid traps.

Il y a quelques temps, KimmotMan a posté sur DA un projet du nom de "Popple Outta Place", que j'ai beaucoup aimé![=)]( "=) (Smile)")
, en particulier parceque l'idée principale de son projet (Popple voyageant à travers toutes sortes de peintures) me rappelle le principe du jeu "Gex enter the gecko" (ce dernier voyageant à travers des emissions de TV).
Alors tout comme Gex, j'ai pensé que ça pourrait être funky de donner à Popple une apparance selon le type de peinture qu'il voyage X).
Chaque apparence donne à Popple une aptitude spéciale:
Popple Pastel peut escalader et creuser.
Popple Fusain résiste au feu et aux températures élevées.
Popple Aquarelle peut courir sur l'eau 8).
Popple Encre de Chine devient si léger qu'il peut léviter un peu et ainsi éviter des pièges.
